Darryl Mitchell Pleads Not Guilty In Seven Long Island ‘Knockout Game’ Attacks

December 18, 2013 Amityville, New York — A Black North Amityville man has been indicted in connection with seven “Knockout Game” attacks across Suffolk County, Long Island. Darryl Mitchell, 20, is accused of punching his victims in the head, unprovoked and in broad daylight.  The most recent attack was on Dec. 1

Two of the targets were over the age of 65, WCBS 880′s Sophia Hall reported Wednesday.

“This is a bad bad person he deserves nothing but jail time.  Who goes about a crime like this?  Just hitting unsuspecting people, they do nothing to provoke him, they have no idea what he is going to do, and he hits them in the side of the head,” District Attorney Thomas Spota said.

Darrar Jones, one of Mitchell’s alleged victims, spoke with CBS 2 regarding his attack.  “He stepped in front of me, said a few words and started punching me just about right above the right eye.”

After his arraignment, Mitchell’s lawyer said he didn’t think it was the Knockout Game when people hit unsuspecting victims, but wouldn’t say what he thought it was, 1010 WINS’ Holli Haerr reported.

Mitchell pleaded not guilty to four counts of third-degree assault.  The judge set bail at $200,000 bond, hall reported.

Philip Chism Murdered Colleen Ritzer, by Malicious Beating in Danvers, Massachusetts

Philip Chism beat Colleen until she was dead. This continuous and vicious assault doesn’t occur, unless Philip had extreme prejudice against the victim.

The Media is blocking-out demographics and focusing on ‘sentimentalism’. Police, Media and the Population refuse to see Race as a possible motive. As time unfolds, more will be released in Philip Chisms motives. I believe — it was racially motivated.

Poverty is not an excuse for crime. Nor is mental illness. Our system is inundated with Media and Special Interest Groups — which dictate a false narrative. Every-time a minority attacks a White, or Asian person, the media diverts to illness, or poverty. These groups intentionally maneuver people from the underline issues towards a pseudo explanation, or in the case of Colleen; they focus on her, instead of the antagonist.

It’s time to block politically motivated media and take responsibility for misguided ideology and replace them with truth. The truth that this goes beyond ‘actions’. Rather, it goes to the mechanism which created those actions — Hollywood, Genetics, Race and Culture.

October 24, 2013 Danvers Massachusetts (FOX25) – Hundreds turned out for a candlelight vigil on the parking lot of Danvers High School Wednesday night to honor 24-year-old Colleen Ritzer, a teacher at the school who was murdered, allegedly at the hand of one of her students.

Many wore pink, Ritzer’s favorite color. They prayed and sang and, at the end of the vigil, placed their candles along with some stuffed animals in the middle of a ring they formed for the gathering.

The Boston Red Sox also held a moment of silence for Ritzer before game one of the 2013 World Series.

Phillip Chism, 14, is accused of killing the beloved math teacher. He faced a murder charge in Salem District Court Wednesday afternoon and was held without bail. He will be tried as an adult in the case.

A source told FOX 25’s Heather Hegedus that Chism admitted to police that he followed Ritzer into the women’s restroom, punched her in the face and slashed her throat with a box cutter.

The source told Hegedus that Chism put Ritzer’s body in a recycling bin and brought it to the woods near the school.

Essex County District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett says officials were notified that Ritzer had not returned home from work Tuesday and was not answering her cell phone at about 11:20 p.m. Investigators entered the high school to look for Ritzer and found blood inside a second floor bathroom.

Ritzer’s body was discovered a short time later in the woods near the high school.

Police found Chism, who was reported missing Tuesday night, walking on Route 1 in Topsfield at about 12:30 a.m.

Chism had previously been identified as the teen whose disappearance sparked the homicide investigation at Danvers High School. He stood behind a glass window as the charges against him were read Wednesday.
